Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Operator to inspect extruded products for consistent appearance and length, and to ensure compliance with standards. You will read tape measures, operate packaging equipment, and maintain accurate paperwork while supporting a 12-hour shift schedule.

No prior experience required, but basic math and English reading skills are essential. Successful candidates must pass a drug screen and background check and be at least 18 years old, with a strong

• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch.
• Related machine operation experience preferred; no experience required.
• Be able to stand for 12-hour shifts, bend and lift as needed.
• Basic Math skills and ability to read English for quality testing.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old and follow safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Extrusion Operators visually inspect extruded product for consistency in appearance and length.
• Ensure product counts, packing patterns, and labeling meet standards.
• Maintain required paperwork and perform online quality inspections.
• Operate packaging equipment and support shift duties as assigned.

Base Pay: $16 per hour + $2.50 Shift Differential

2-2-3 Work Schedule

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Extrusion Operators visually inspects extruded product for consistent appearance and length according to defined standards.

• Associate ensures product consistency and standards including but not limited to proper counts, packing patterns, and labels
• Associate maintains paperwork as required
• Performs online quality inspections
• Operates packaging equipment

Qualifications

• Must be able to read a tape measure
• Related machine operation experience
• Be able to stand and work on your feet for 12-hour shifts, and bend and lift
• Basic Math skills
• Ability to read English and quality test product
• Must be able to read a tape measure to the 16th of an inch
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment to meet goals and quality standards
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to understand and follow safety polices.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
• No experience required. Manufacturing and Extrusion experience highly preferred
