Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking an Extrusion Assistant in the Extrusion Department to support daily production. You will prepare and handle raw materials and resins, load/unload rolls, and manage waste and scrap materials while keeping work areas stocked with materials.

The role requires operating forklifts or clamp trucks, moving products safely, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed in a climate-controlled manufacturing environment with a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts or clamp trucks is beneficial.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and handle raw materials and resins.
• Safely load/unload rolls and change rubber/chill rolls.
• Properly manage waste and scrap materials.
• Keep machine areas stocked with materials.
• Store and dispose of waste materials properly.
• Uses forklift/clamp trucks to transport product.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
