Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services, Inc. seeks an Extruding/Compounding Operator to accurately convert weighted raw materials into compounded materials per customer specifications. Work under supervision on a Day Shift (A) with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Responsibilities include handling approved ingredients, operating extrusion and related equipment, and maintaining precise documentation in a GMP setting. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to multitask, and adherence to safety

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
No minimum experience required; 1+ year cGMP manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Prepare, identify and deliver approved ingredients to each area of the production process.
Operate mixing equipment, extruder, cutter, calendar and other auxiliary equipment as required.
Load recipe and set up extruders for items to be ran while maintaining correct weight, length, and width of stock.
Weigh and document formulas that do not meet specifications and complete QC, SPC, and production forms.
Keep the compounding area and equipment clean and orderly; report off-standard conditions.
