Job summary

Sunrise Plastic Enterprise, INC. is seeking an Extruder Operator to safely operate plastic extrusion and pelletizing equipment. You will monitor temperatures, feed rates, and pellet quality while ensuring safety and production efficiency.

You will review orders, verify materials, and inspect products for contamination, labeling, and quality. The role requires attention to standard procedures and teamwork on rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Extrusion/plastics manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read production instructions and safety procedures.
• Basic math and measurement skills for production documents.
• Able to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Safely start, operate, monitor, adjust, and shut down extrusion and pelletizing equipment.
• Review production orders and material specs to ensure correct inputs.
• Inspect materials for contamination and labeling accuracy before processing.
• Monitor temperatures, pressures, screw speed, and pellet quality for quality control.
• Record production data and report equipment issues promptly.
• Follow Lockout/Tagout and safety procedures during maintenance and setup.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and assist with line changeovers.
