C-P Flexible Packaging is hiring DAY SHIFT - Extruder Operators. Pay starts at $20/hr DOE with a 12-hour day shift (6am-6pm). The company offers extensive benefits and a long-standing presence in the packaging industry.

Responsibilities include operating and setting up extruder equipment, performing quality checks, and ensuring safe, efficient production while meeting daily goals. Forklift experience is beneficial in a fast-paced team setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist the operator in set-ups and operation of the extruder.
• Complete tasks within time limits and meet daily goals.
• Perform quality checks and ensure correct specifications.
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment.
• Load and unload product using hoist; handle materials safely.
• Interpret work orders and SOPs; complete required paperwork.
• Maintain clean, safe work area; work in a team environment.
• Operate forklift as needed.

Hours: 6am-6pm

Job Functions & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

• Assist the operator in performing set-ups and operation of machine
• Complete tasks within adequate time limits, meet daily goal/scheduled needs
• Perform quality checks and ensure correct specifications
• Making necessary adjustments to equipment
• Loading and unloading of product using hoist
• Interpret and understand written information (work orders, SOP, tickets, etc.)
• Completing required paperwork
• Keeping work and surrounding areas clean and safe
• Work in a team environment
• Forklift experience
