Qualifications

The Extraction Technician I

Supports the Extraction department in daily activities for oil extraction and processing in a laboratory environment. This position is under the direction of the Laboratory Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs daily plant processing in decarboxylation
• Maintains pre/post trim stock inventories and accompanying records
• Validates material receipt against shipment manifests
• cGMP compliant maintenance of laboratory records and documentation
• Care and maintenance of the laboratory including supply, organization and equipment maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
• 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment (Preferred)
• Experienced with cGLP and/or cGMP requirements
• Knowledge and/or experience in Lean management systems

EDUCATION

• High School Degree
• Associate’s Degree or higher (Preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a secure, regulated environment.
