Institute for Business & Technology is seeking an energetic Externship Coordinator to support Allied Health programs. The role begins with an initial three-month Career Services assignment, assisting students with job search, resumes, and workshops, before transitioning into the Externship Coordinator function.

You will develop and manage cardiovascular sonography externship sites, coordinate placements, and maintain compliance documentation while engaging healthcare partners and students

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 3 years in an Allied Health field or related healthcare setting.
• Postsecondary credential; an associate degree is preferred.
• Experience in career services, externships, or employer relations is a plus.
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities are essential.
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and attention to detail.
• Comfort working with students, employers, faculty, and school leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic recordkeeping.

Aufgaben

• Assist students and graduates with job searches, resumes, and interviews.
• Support group workshops, seminars, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
• Develop relationships with local employers and identify opportunities.
• Maintain contact with graduates and track placements and documentation.
• Participate in job fairs, employer outreach, and related activities.
• During Career Services phase, ensure regulatory standards are met.
• Transition to Externship Coordinator to manage healthcare externship sites.
• Identify externship partners and coordinate student placements.
• Present externship seminars and match students to suitable sites.
• Monitor progress and communicate with students and site supervisors.
