Concorde Career Colleges, Inc. in Portland, OR seeks a Medical Assist Extern Coordinator to manage externship assignments, track activity, and report outcomes, ensuring students transition from didactics to real-world training.

You will work with the Program Director and Academic Dean to place students, conduct site visitations, coordinate timesheets, and ensure compliance with Academic Affairs policies. This role includes developing externship sites, supporting student job leads, attending

Qualifications

• Must meet appropriate teacher qualifications for the program.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Self-starter, excellent organizational, problem solving, communication and customer service skills.
• Marketing and/or sales experience a plus.
• Must have current car insurance and valid unrestricted driver’s license.
• Must meet extern site contracts requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate externship assignments and site visits.
• Develop new externship sites and lead student job leads.
• Monitor extern progress and report metrics.
• Communicate with Program Director and Registrar.
• Attend orientation and commencement events.
• Ensure compliance with Academic Affairs policies.
• Maintain logs and reports of extern activities.
• Instruct classes as needed.
