Job summary

Netflix is seeking an External Support Engineer in the USA to bridge the content creation team with the device engineering group. You will be the first point of contact for tool issues, analyze problems, and drive quick resolutions for the external content teams.

The role requires collaboration with engineers, training creation, and proactive tool improvements, backed by a Bachelor's degree and 5 years of production‑level experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience supporting live work or device environments.
• Experience developing games with Unity 3D tools.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence or other point‑of‑sale software.
• Mobile development experience for iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to content/output teams regarding use of content tools.
• Create a reference and provide training to familiarize external teams with the tool.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot potential problems using tools and workflows to quickly resolve user issues.
• Raise complex issues or problems with the tool development team and work in production to track these issues in Jira.
• Champion tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams.
• Collaborate with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality.
• Mentor or lead coaching discussions to drive a plan from initial concept to completion.
• Demonstrate trust, responsibility and professionalism in all work‑related interactions.
