Job summary

TikTok is seeking an External Security Relations & Assurance lead to serve as the primary trust and assurance interface between our security team and external clients, partners, and regulators. You will own end-to-end client security assurance lifecycle, from inquiries to tailored narratives and evidence packages.

This role blends security expertise with a customer-service mindset to ensure accurate, auditable responses and trusted relationships across TikTok's global business partners.

Qualifications

• Ability to translate complex security concepts into business language for non-technical audiences.
• Strong knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR/CCPA/DSA/OSA regulatory landscapes.
• Experience managing multiple client relationships and prioritizing demands.
• Experience developing security assurance materials and vendor responses.

Responsibilities

• Own external client and partner security inquiries end-to-end from intake through delivery.
• Produce client security narratives, architecture briefs, and assurance packages.
• Build and maintain trust-based relationships with sales teams.
• Lead client-facing security briefings translating technical controls into business language.
