Qualifications

• 5+ years of external financial reporting or accounting experience.
• CPA or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and assists in the review of Nuveen's quarterly and annual audited financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Serves as a primary FCCS user, managing data inputs, consolidation runs, and reporting outputs.
• Partner with Data Ops and Tech teams to support FCCS enhancements and controls updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes for accuracy and scalability.
• Support FP&A on Investor Relations reporting and external financial communications.
• Coordinate with external auditors, legal, tax and other stakeholders for audits.
• Support technical accounting assessments and write formal memos as needed.
• Assist in maintaining accounting policies and procedures for external reporting.
