Job summary

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is seeking an External Mortgage Loan Originator in Maitland, FL to establish referral relationships and generate a steady loan volume. The role operates under the Branch Manager and focuses on outside sales with mortgage brokers and other professionals.

You will prospect, pre-qualify borrowers, and guide clients through product options, closing costs, and monthly payments while maintaining active communication with lenders and partners.

Qualifications

• Must have appropriate state license or certificate.
• Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurers.
• Familiar with Truth-in-Lending, RESPA, and related mortgage laws.

Responsibilities

• Sell mortgage loans to customers away from AnnieMac Home Mortgage branches.
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors, title/escrow officers, and financial professionals.
• Attend closings, open houses, and lead-generating seminars.
• Take borrower information and complete loan applications.
• Counsel borrowers on loan products and show how costs and payments vary.
