Job summary

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is seeking a Full Time External Mortgage Loan Originator to establish referral source relationships and generate a steady flow of loan volume from real estate brokers and other external sources. Under supervision of Branch Manager, you will sell mortgage loans away from company offices and develop partnerships with realtors.

You will attend closings, open houses, seminars, and lead-generating events; collect borrower information, pre-qualify, counsel on loan products,

Qualifications

• Experience in mortgage sales and originating loans.
• Strong ability to build and maintain realtor relationships.
• Knowledge of loan products, pricing, and underwriting basics.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business by building relationships with realtors and other professionals.
• Attend closings and open houses, and conduct lead generation activities.
• Collect borrower information and prepare loan applications.
• Pre-qualify borrowers by analyzing income and debt and determine max mortgage.
• Counsel borrowers on loan products, closing costs, and monthly payments.
• Provide disclosures and assist in document collection and verification.
• Maintain contact with borrowers, Realtors, and lenders until closing.
