The role demands sharp negotiation, financial acumen, and ERP stewardship. You’ll deliver a 12‑month roadmap, reduce aged inventory, and ensure quotes align with buying power to keep builders supplied with value.

Qualifications

• P&L ownership and inventory discipline.
• Strong negotiation with vendors to meet cost targets.
• Data integrity and ERP stewardship across item master data.

Responsibilities

• Act as the category CEO for exteriors portfolio (roofing, siding, decking, fasteners).
• Define estimating strategy and stock SKUs to match buying power.
• Manage aged inventory and prepare items for the Boneyard when needed.
• Drive a 12-month roadmap including Winter Buy and Product Exit plans.
