Job summary

Drexel Building Supply, Inc. is seeking a Cabinetry Category Manager to lead the cabinetry product line, protect profitability, establish SOPs for estimates and orders, manage vendor relationships, and liquidate aged inventory.

As a partnered leader in Product Supply & Category Management, you will ensure price integrity, product availability, and OTIF delivery, collaborating with Account Managers and regional leaders to drive category education and alignment across markets.

Responsibilities

• P&L stewardship and rebate capture with vendor terms and 100% rebate collection.
• Create and enforce SOPs for cabinetry takeoffs, material estimates, and order placement.
• Manage aging inventory with 45/75/90-day clock and annual liquidation events.
• Evaluate vendor partners on lead times, product quality, and order accuracy.
• Supply accurate product strategy data and stock SKUs for estimating.
• Audit estimates for stocked vs non-stock items and address vendor quality issues.
