Job summary

Roofing Corp in Denver is seeking an experienced Project Development Estimator to support commercial and multifamily construction. This role focuses on accurate cost estimates, subcontractor pricing, and guiding the bid process from concept to completion.

You will review drawings, perform quantity takeoffs, develop budgets, and coordinate with project teams to manage risks and value engineering opportunities. The position is full-time with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of estimating experience in commercial, multifamily, or roofing construction.
• Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Proficiency with estimating and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-person site inspections to determine project scope requirements and assess existing conditions.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents when available.
• Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, equipment, and roofing systems.
• Develop cost estimates for commercial and multifamily roofing projects including reroofs, repairs, replacements, and new construction roofing scopes.
• Solicit, evaluate, and compare subcontractor and supplier bids.
• Develop detailed budgets and bid proposals for commercial and multifamily construction projects.
