Woodgrain is seeking an Operations Coach in Newington, CT to lead daily production in our millwork facility. This role drives safety, quality, delivery and cost performance while developing high-performing teams and ensuring staffing and workflow alignment.

Responsibilities include meeting daily production targets, coordinating with Team Leads, maintaining accuracy in SAP, and fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrate professionalism and a positive, team-focused attitude.
• Manage labor and monitor processes to ensure productivity and accuracy.
• Provide coverage for Team Leads or Team Members as needed.
• Drive teams to meet daily production targets.
• Monitor production rates and update hourly performance boards.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Adjust staffing and reallocate resources based on production needs.
• Communicate with Coaches and Team Leads to align daily plans.
• Assign and delegate tasks to maintain workflow and productivity.
• Monitor performance and rebalance staffing as needed.
• Enforce safety standards, including PPE and proper equipment use.
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve root causes.
• Ensure equipment is operational; coordinate repairs as needed.
• Complete production reporting and ensure accurate system entry (SAP).
• Operate equipment and maintain required certifications as needed.
• Coordinate cross-training to support workforce flexibility.
• Monitor team dynamics and address conflicts promptly.
• Coordinate material setup for upcoming production.
• Ensure accurate and timely attendance documentation.
