Job summary

Botanical Designs LLC is seeking a Crew member to oversee exterior landscape maintenance for client accounts. You will lead routine tasks, train crew, and coordinate with the supervisor to meet daily objectives.

The role requires horticultural knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate standard landscape equipment safely. A pesticide license is preferred; LEAN participation is encouraged for process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of horticultural education or equivalent industry experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of various common plants and ability to identify company-maintained plants.
• Good working knowledge of pruning, watering, fertilizing and pest management.
• Experience using standard landscape equipment and tools (mower, line trimmer, blower, power shears).
• Pesticide license preferred; candidates pursuing license may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform exterior landscape maintenance on customer properties including trees, shrubs, flowers, and beds.
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely; maintain equipment and report issues.
• Follow safety guidelines, communicate with supervisor, and document daily activities.
• Assist with shop upkeep and LEAN activities as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain professional appearance and contribute to a positive company image.
