Job summary

Springfield Township is seeking a Special Education Teacher for a summer program. The role emphasizes working with energetic students and building connections within the school community.

Required are a Bachelor's and/or Master's in Education and PA Special Education certification. Autism experience is preferred, and ABA training is a plus. The five-week program runs July 6 to August 6, with training on June 24–25.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• The School District of Springfield Township seeks candidates with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well within the school community.
• 7.5 hours per day for the program period.
• Training dates: June 24–25, 2026.
• Program dates: July 6, 2026–August 6, 2026, Monday–Thursday.
• External candidates must have clearances prior to starting.

Must be available for entire 5 week program and available for training on 2 days in June.

Must be a good team player, punctual, energetic, parent friendly and have an eagerness to learn.

ABA training preferred.
