Responsibilities include nursing duties per Massachusetts guidelines, collaborating with school teams, maintaining health records, and administering medications with emergency care when needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold MA RN license (or be eligible) and CPR certification.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• School nurse educator license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional nursing duties per Massachusetts guidelines and district policy.
• Collaborate with school and nursing departments to support medical needs.
• Manage health services for students in extended day and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain confidential health records compliant with laws.
• Provide medication administration and first aid/emergency care.
• Assist in disease prevention and safety practices.
• Coordinate with families and community providers to optimize care.
