Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools is seeking a dedicated supervisor for the Extended Day program. You will lead teams, support activities, manage spaces, and supervise students in a large education site, while building positive relationships with families and staff.

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, one year in childcare or education, and experience with children with special needs. Supervisory experience is preferred; ability to work with minimal supervision. Full benefits available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• One year experience in childcare, recreation, education, or youth development required.
• Experience with children with special needs.
• Experience leading programs in a childcare or education setting preferred.
• Supervisor experience preferred.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams, support activities, manage program spaces and supervise students in a large education site.
• Staff hiring and development.
• Establish positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, building and school district staff.
• Develop and foster the implementation of individual behavior modification plans for children as needed.
• Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children.
• Ensure compliance and completion of all site documentation and required paperwork.
