Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools Community Education is hiring to lead our Extended Day before/after school program. As a supervisor you will develop and implement programming that reflects diverse interests, talents and learning styles of our students.

You will oversee teams, handle staff hiring, build strong relationships with students, families and school staff, and ensure safety and compliant paperwork. A Bachelor's degree and at least one year in childcare or youth development are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• One year of childcare, recreation, education, or youth development experience required.
• Experience with children with special needs is required.
• Experience leading programs in childcare or education settings preferred.
• Supervisor experience preferred.

White Bear Lake Area Schools Community Education has an exciting opportunity for you in our Extended Day before/after school program! Our supervisors develop and implement programming that reflects diverse interests, talents and learning styles of our students .

Job responsibilities include:

• Leadteams, supportactivities, manage program spaces, supervise and provide guidance for students in a large education site
• Staff Hiring and Development

• Develops and fosters the implementation of individual behavior modification plans for children as needed
• Provide a safe, caring, fun environment for children
• Ensure compliance and completion of all site documentation and required paperwork

Pay & Schedule:

• $65,684 - $71,183 annually based on education and experience.
• Full-time Core hours are Monday - Friday8:30-5:00 pm. Occasional morning programvisits, along with evening and weekend eventparticipation, are required to connect with staff, families, and community members
