Job summary

Saint Rose Catholic School is seeking an Extended Care Director to lead and oversee the before- and after-school care programs for Preschool through 8th grade. This role includes training and supervising staff, ensuring student safety, and coordinating communications with parents.

You will manage attendance, supplies, and billing with the school office and coordinate Camp Saint Rose during the summer. This part-time position requires a strong faith-based approach and reliable leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Four years of experience working with children in educational or child care settings.
• Catholic faith witness and ability to provide a professional and personal witness aligned with Church teaching.
• CPR and First Aid certifications; willingness to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of before-school and after-school care programs.
• Train, schedule, and evaluate extended care staff.
• Ensure student safety and coordinate enrichment activities.
• Manage attendance, supplies, and billing records with the main school office.
• Communicate with parents regarding behavior, student needs, and concerns.
• Maintain security protocols for emergencies and release procedures.
• Coordinate Camp Saint Rose and summer staffing.
