Job summary

North Suffolk Community Services Inc. is seeking Expressive Arts Therapists to join the Early Intervention Team in Massachusetts. The role focuses on screen/intake, family support, and IFSP coordination in home or community settings.

The position emphasizes trauma-informed approaches and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to support infants and toddlers at risk for developmental delays.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Expressive Therapy required.
• LMHC eligible preferred.
• Experience in Infancy/Early Childhood and Special Education preferred.
• Spanish bilingual a plus; indicate language skills in application.
• Driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle for off-site services.

Responsibilities

• Provide EI screening/intake, evaluation and assessment.
• Provide direct child developmental and family support / case management.
• Participate in development of IFSP and its ongoing execution, review and evaluation.
• Collaborate with client families and the EI team to identify concerns, priorities and resources.
• Provide education, advocacy, and support on child & parenting issues and community resources to client families.
• Refer for discrete/specialized child therapies and refer to other case management and counseling services when appropriate.
• Coordinate intervention services with medical, state, and health providers.
• Assist in developing a transition plan for child and family client.
