Gresham Toyota, part of Swickard Auto Group, is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician for our express lane in the Portland metro area. You’ll work in a two-technician-per-bay environment supporting flat-rate technicians to keep vehicle throughput steady and quality high.

You’ll perform oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and basic maintenance, while completing thorough multi-point inspections and documenting findings for service advisors. Training is provided, and attendance is crucial.

Formación

• Express service or automotive maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with common hand tools.
• Reliable and punctual -- attendance is essential for the two-technician-per-bay model.
• Detail-oriented -- accurate torque procedures and fluid levels required.
• Team-first attitude -- work with experienced technicians to keep the lane moving.
• Willingness to complete Toyota manufacturer training and follow dealership safety policies.

Responsabilidades

• Perform oil changes, oil filters, tire rotations, fluid checks and top-offs, tire pressure adjustments, and basic scheduled maintenance services.
• Complete thorough multi-point inspections and identify maintenance needs and safety concerns; communicate findings to service advisors.
• Follow Toyota maintenance procedures, dealership processes, and safety standards on every vehicle.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shift.
• Communicate effectively with fellow technicians, service advisors, and shop leadership to keep the lane moving.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Prior express service or automotive maintenance experience preferred -- candidates with mechanical aptitude, dependability, and a genuine interest in building a technician career are encouraged to apply
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required
• Basic automotive mechanical knowledge and familiarity with common hand tools
• Reliable and punctual -- the two-technician-per-bay model depends on consistent staffing and dependable attendance
• Detail-oriented -- proper torque procedures, accurate fluid levels, and complete inspection documentation are non-negotiable
• Team-first attitude -- you work alongside experienced flat-rate technicians and the shop runs better when everyone pulls in the same direction
• Willingness to complete Toyota manufacturer training and follow dealership safety policies
