Swickard Toyota in Edmonds, WA is seeking an entry-level express technician to join our high-volume service lane. You will perform oil changes, inspections, and scheduled maintenance while learning the express lane workflow.

Qualifications

• Completion of an automotive technology program or equivalent hands-on background.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to work in a high-volume express lane.
• Toyota or Japanese-brand familiarity is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-point inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, and other scheduled maintenance.
• Document findings on inspection reports and communicate concerns to service advisors.
• Work efficiently within express lane time standards while maintaining inspection quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer training to advance certification level.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform multi-point vehicle inspections, oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, wiper replacements, and other scheduled maintenance services
• Document findings accurately on vehicle inspection reports and communicate concerns clearly to service advisors
• Work efficiently within express lane time standards without sacrificing inspection quality
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout every shift
• Participate in ongoing manufacturer and technical training to advance your certification level

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Prior automotive technician experience, completion of an automotive technology program, or equivalent hands-on mechanical background preferred
• Toyota or Japanese brand familiarity a plus -- not required
• Able to work at a consistent pace in a high-volume express environment while maintaining accurate inspection quality
• Reliable, punctual, and takes genuine pride in doing the job correctly
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
