Job summary

Carter Motors is seeking entry-level automotive technicians to join our team. This position offers hands-on training to develop skills in diagnostics, inspection, and customer service while you grow with a family-owned dealership.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with opportunities for raises based on performance; experienced technicians can earn more. Schedule is Tue-Sat with continued training and a path to advancement within the dealership. Benefits apply after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with others.
• Good time management and ability to multitask.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Able to drive a manual transmission.
• WA state driver's license required.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Pre-employment background check, reference check & drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Check oil level and communicate with teammates.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Complete vehicle inspections.
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service with the customer’s perspective first.
