Carter Motors, Inc is hiring entry-level automotive technicians at Carter Subaru in Ballard. This is an excellent entry-level position with potential for advancement. The role includes training, a path to technician status, and a starting pay of $21.50 per hour with production-based increases for experienced technicians.

We offer benefits after 30 days, and opportunities for growth and advancement. The schedule is TBD – Full Time, with two hires planned.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
• WA state driver's license required.
• Clean WA state driving record required.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Effective communication and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Check and communicate oil level to teammates.
• Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation.
• Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary.
• Complete vehicle inspection.
• Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter.
• Clean and lubricate fittings as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first.
