Job summary

Reynolds’ Subaru in Connecticut is seeking an Express Service Writer to join our service team. No automotive experience is required as we provide paid training and the support you need to succeed. You’ll greet customers, relay vehicle status to clients, and help ensure a smooth checkout experience.

We value a positive attitude, clear communication, and a team-player mentality. If you enjoy helping customers and coordinating with technicians, this is a great entry into the automotive industry

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Comfortable communicating with customers in person and over the phone.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and check in their vehicles in a friendly and timely manner
• Communicate regularly with service technicians regarding vehicle status
• Keep customers informed of diagnostic results, service needs, and technician recommendations
• Review and explain recommended maintenance and repairs
• Assist customers throughout the checkout process
• Notify customers promptly when their vehicle is complete, washed, and ready for pickup
• Review and close repair orders with customers
• Help coordinate and manage loaner and rental vehicle schedules
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the entire service experience

What You’ll Do

As an Express Service Writer, you’ll help create a smooth and positive experience for our service customers from the moment they arrive until they pick up their vehicle.

• Greet customers and check in their vehicles in a friendly and timely manner
• Communicate regularly with service technicians regarding vehicle status
