Job summary

Weibel Auto Group in Colorado seeks a skilled automotive service technician to join our team at the Greeley location. You will inspect vehicles, perform oil changes, safety inspections, and use diagnostic tools to inform service advisors.

Requirements include a HS diploma or GED, 1 year experience, ability to lift 50 pounds, and willingness to learn. We offer medical/dental, paid vacation, closed Sundays, and a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Technical degree preferred
• ASE certifications preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in automotive service
• Ability to identify problems quickly
• Good knowledge of automobiles
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment
• Good reading, computation, and math skills
• Ability to learn new repair procedures

Responsibilities

• Work in a team to change the oil and oil filter on a vehicle
• Perform a walk around on each vehicle
• Perform a safety inspection on each vehicle
• Measure tires, brakes, and wear items to inform the service advisor or customer
• Repair or replace worn parts before breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to perform tasks
• Rotate tires and set tire pressures
