The Express Service Technician performs essential maintenance, replacements, and repairs. Additional tasks include lube, oil and filter changes, rotating tires, mounting and balancing tires, tire repairs, replacing brakes, coolant flushes, drive belts, sway bar links, shocks and struts, ball joints, and other vehicle service and maintenance items.

• $34,000.00 - $41,000.00 – Per Year
• This Position is Flat Rate Pay – Experience based
• $2,500.00 Sign-on Bonus* – Potential sign-on bonus pay – Experience based – determined by hiring manager
• Shop hours Monday - Friday 7 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays 8 AM to 3 PM – Closed on Sunday

Requirements:

• Capable of performing lubrications, oil changes, maintenance, tire services, inspections, and other essential services.
• Able to complete repairs and replacement of brakes, engine coolant, drive belts, sway bar links, shocks and struts, ball joints, etc.
• Precisely communicate needed repairs to customers via video and to Service Advisor.
• Address fellow teammates and customers with patience and respect.
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
• Taking direction and mentoring from others.
• Participate in progressive training programs.
• Maintain store cleanliness.
• Promote a safe work environment.
• Assist in maintaining store equipment and tools.
• Complete any other assigned tasks delegated by Service Management.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1-2 years of practical automotive experience is required.
• 1-2 ASE Certifications are a plus but not required.
• Completion of an automotive technology course is a plus.
• Strong critical thinking skills.
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Driver's license with a driving record allowing you to be insured to drive company and customer vehicles.
