Job summary

Bowser Automotive is seeking an enthusiastic Express Service Advisor to join our busy service department in Pleasant Hills, PA. You’ll be the first contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs, ensuring an outstanding experience while keeping appointments running smoothly.

You’ll greet customers, document needs, prepare estimates, coordinate with technicians, and maintain CSI scores.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive dealership or independent repair facility experience preferred.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally, creating a welcoming service experience.
• Listen to customer concerns and document vehicle maintenance and repair needs accurately.
• Perform walk-arounds and recommend additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate.

• Deliver completed vehicles and review repairs performed.

Bowser Automotive is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Express Service Advisor to join our busy service department in Pleasant Hills, PA. As an Express Service Advisor, you'll be the first point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for maintenance and repairs. You'll help ensure every customer receives an outstanding experience while keeping service appointments running efficiently and smoothly.

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers promptly and professionally while creating a welcoming service experience.
• Listen to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform walk-arounds and recommend additional maintenance or repairs when appropriate.
• Prepare repair estimates and communicate expected completion times.
• Verify warranty coverage and payment methods.
• Coordinate with service technicians throughout the repair process.
• Keep customers informed on the status of their vehicles and any additional service recommendations.
• Deliver completed vehicles to customers and review all repairs performed.
• Test drive vehicles when necessary.
• Maintain outstanding Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
• Follow all Bowser Automotive safety policies and procedures.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous automotive dealership or independent repair facility experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• General knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair.
• Sales or customer service experience is a plus.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
