Job summary

First Texas Honda in Austin, TX is seeking Service Technicians and Technician Apprentices to join our team. You will perform preventative maintenance, tire rotations, brake adjustments and inspections while learning on new Honda equipment.

We offer paid training, a competitive pay structure starting at $22.50 per flag hour with potential to reach $27.50 per flag hour, and opportunities to advance to a Main Shop Technician with earnings up to $60,000+ per year.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in an express lube position in a high volume environment is required
• Must have a love for cars!
• Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
• Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles
• Must have held a valid driver's license for at least 1 year and have a good driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age to be considered
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance services, fluid exchanges, and filter replacement
• Tire rotations, flat-repairs, and computerized balancing
• Brake system adjustments
• Basic vehicle inspections
