Job summary

Ford of Latham, part of Lithia Motors, Inc., is hiring automotive lube technicians for a full-time on-site role in Latham, NY. Responsibilities include performing vehicle maintenance per dealer and factory standards, complete oil changes, and inspections. You will report to the service manager and join a large nationwide Lithia group offering benefits.

Applicants should have NY State Inspector’s License, basic mechanical skills, and a valid driver's license. On-site with Saturday shifts on offer.

Qualifications

• New York State Inspector’s License required.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred.
• Ability to operate a wide variety of cars and transmissions.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Communicate repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.

You will report to the service manager.

This is an on-site position located in Latham, NY.

Responsibilities:

As an Automotive Lube Technician you will perform vehicle maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate appropriate customer vehicle repair and maintenance recommendations to the service advisor liaison.

Qualifications:

• New York State Inspector’s License required
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred.
• Operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, with ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Est. Annual Compensation: $35,000 to $65,000
Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge/bonus/commission, location, etc.
