Ray Laks Honda in Orchard Park, NY is seeking an Automotive Lube Technician to perform vehicle maintenance according to dealer and factory standards. The role requires basic mechanical skills and a minimum of two years’ express lube experience, with a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

You will handle tasks such as oil changes, inspections, and recommending maintenance to the service advisor, while contributing to customer satisfaction and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• 2+ years of experience as an express/quick lube technician preferred.
• Ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and fluids.
• Communicate maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.
• Maintain quality expertise and customer satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

As an Automotive Lube Technician you will perform vehicle maintenance as assigned following dealer and factory standards.

• Perform minor maintenance, e.g., changing engine oil and filters.
• Perform complete vehicle maintenance inspection including tires, brakes, and all fluid levels.
• Communicate vehicle maintenance recommendations to the service advisor.
• Maintain quality expertise and customer satisfaction

What you’ll bring:

• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• 2+ years of experience as an express/quick lube technician preferrable.
• Operate several cars, light trucks, and vans, with the ability to drive both manual and automatic transmissions.
• You will set and meet goals.
• You will be a team player who is focused on providing customer service.
• You will have an acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence.

Union Hourly Rate $17.14

Actual pay offered may vary depending on Union contract, experience, job-related knowledge/bonus/commission, location.
