Job summary

Kendall Auto Group in Fairbanks is seeking an Express Lube Service Advisor to join our Express Lube Team. The role focuses on providing excellent customer service, prioritizing repairs, and coordinating with technicians and sales staff in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in service writing is not required, but dealership experience is preferred.
• Candidates must have proven strong customer service skills, the ability to multi-task, and general knowledge of automobiles and their maintenance.
• A valid driver’s license and a good driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Interface with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance.
• Verify that work was properly performed and diagnosed.
• Research vehicle history to make educated recommendations.
• Input and maintain customer information; complete tasks efficiently and organized.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and chat and schedule service appointments.

We are looking for an Express Lube Service Advisor to join our Express Lube Team. At Kendall Auto Mall in Fairbanks, our Service Department is a fast-paced environment serving clients throughout the community.

Customers might purchase a few vehicles from us throughout the years, but our goal is to have lifelong service customers and we trust our Advisors to be that first contact of Kendall in our service departments.

We are looking for candidates who have high level customer service experience, those who can demonstrate time management, strong work ethics, and strong communication skills. The ability to make recommendations and prioritize items in order of importance for our customers is key.

Duties will include interfacing with customers, technicians, and salespersons to identify and sell vehicle repairs and maintenance, verifying work was properly performed and diagnosed, researching vehicle history to make educated recommendations, inputting and maintaining customer information, complete work tasks in an efficient and organized manner, using telephone, email, and chat systems to communicate with customers throughout the day, and scheduling service appointments.

Working conditions are primarily indoors spending up to full work shift working on PC, standing and/or walking for short distances throughout work shift, and frequent use of telephone.
