Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a customer-focused Express Lube Advisor at Avondale Nissan in Avondale, AZ. You will greet customers, build rapport, and partner with technicians to ensure clear understanding of service needs and recommendations.

The ideal candidate has Express Lube Advisor experience, at least 1 year as an automotive technician, and solid mechanical understanding. A flexible, team-oriented attitude with a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous Express Lube Advisor experience.
• 1+ years experience as an automotive technician.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• A willingness to jump in where needed.
• A commitment to following through on promises.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers following established customer contact procedures.
• Build positive customer relationships by identifying concerns, assessing needs, and providing service solutions.
• Be the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and the needed service/repairs.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.
