Job summary

L0786 Hill Country Honda in San Antonio, TX is hiring Automotive Express Lube Advisors. This onsite role reports to the Service Manager and requires open availability including Saturdays.

You will initiate services, verify warranty coverage, develop estimates, write repair orders, and maintain customer records. You will be the liaison between customer and technician to ensure needs, repairs, and recommendations are clearly understood.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as an automotive technician.
• Previous Service Advisor experience.
• High School graduate or equivalent; 18+.

Responsibilities

• You will initiate automotive services and repairs.
• Verify performance problems, warranty coverage, develop estimates and write repair orders.
• Maintain customer records.
• Liaise between customer and technician to communicate needs and recommendations.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies and labor; calculate payments.
• Prepare repair orders with approvals and enter into the service database.
• Communicate additional repair needs based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer manufacturer warranty for qualifying repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, times and expenses.

Dealership: L0786 Hill Country Honda Hill Country Honda NOW HIRING AUTOMOTIVE EXPRESS LUBE ADVISORS! Schedule: Must have open availability, including Saturdays You will report to the Service Manager. This is an onsite position in San Antonio, TX. Helping satisfied customers drive away with a smile on their face is what we do - join a team focused on earning customers for life!

Responsibilities:

• You will initiate automotive services and repairs.
• You will make sure vehicle performance problems and service requests, verifying warranty and service contract coverage, developing estimates, and writing repair orders.
• Additionally, you will maintain customer records.
• Be the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and ensure the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

Qualifications:

• Previous Service Advisor experience.
• 3+ years experience as an automotive technician.
• A team player who is focused on providing customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
• High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
