Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking a Cashier/Associate to support customer service and sales at the Express Lane / Pitt Stop Convenience Stores SC. You will operate the cash register, promote sales, and ensure cash controls and inventory accuracy while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires open weekend/holiday availability, a minimum age of 18, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Training and on-the-job safety practices are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales and maintains cash control within company guidelines.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains checkout area, shelves, displays and restrooms.
• Cleans and stocks external property: sidewalks, drives, pump islands, air/equipment.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Follows safety policies and practices.
