Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking an Associate/Cashier for its Express Lane at Pitt Stop Convenience Stores SC. You will greet customers, operate the cash register, promote sales, and help maintain clean, organized store areas and fuel stations.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED preferred, open availability including weekends/holidays, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will work as part of a team to support safety, inventory control, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of the business.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in a friendly, helpful manner.
• Operate cash register, promote sales and maintain cash control.
• Clean, stock and maintain check out area, equipment, shelves and restrooms.
• Maintain fuel islands and related external areas; measure fuel tanks periodically.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Follow safety policies and perform duties safely.
