Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking an Associate/Cashier to support Express Lane operations at Pitt Stop Convenience Stores SC. The role focuses on friendly customer service, accurate cash handling, and maintaining clean, organized store and fuel areas.

Responsibilities include operating the register, assisting customers, stocking, and adhering to safety guidelines. Open weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and assists them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operates cash register, promotes sales and assures control and accountability of all company inventory and cash control within company guidelines.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains check out area, cooler/freezers/equipment, fast food counter/equipment, shelves, displays, floors, windows, backroom and restrooms.
• Cleans, stocks and maintains external property: sidewalks, drives, pump islands, displays, air machines, ice machine; regularly measures fuel tanks using a dip stick.
• Participates in team efforts to achieve store or company goals.
• Performs duties in a safe manner and follows safety policies and practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
