Job summary

gfsapplegreen is seeking an Associate / Cashier for the Express Lane / Pitt Stop Convenience Stores SC location. The role centers on processing customers, operating the cash register, promoting sales, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment to support customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, be 18+, and available on weekends/holidays with flexibility. Lifting up to 50 lbs is expected as part of stocking and maintenance duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Open availability to work weekends and holidays and varying shifts.
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them in a friendly and helpful manner.
• Operate cash register, promote sales and ensure cash control.
• Clean, stock and maintain checkout area, equipment, shelves and restrooms.
• Maintain external property including sidewalks, driveways, and fuel islands.
• Participate in team efforts to achieve store goals.
• Perform duties safely and follow safety policies.
