Job summary

MacHaik Dodge Chrysler Jeep Georgetown is seeking an Express Lane Advisor to support our high-volume service lane. You will greet customers, open repair orders for routine maintenance, and communicate with technicians to deliver fast, friendly service.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. Automotive service or customer service experience is preferred, with opportunities for advancement within the MacHaik CDJR

Qualifications

• Previous automotive service advising or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Sales or upselling experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance.
• Comfortable using dealership software.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly in the express service drive.
• Open and manage repair orders for maintenance services.
• Recommend factory-recommended maintenance based on mileage.
• Communicate clearly with technicians about service needs.
• Provide accurate time and cost estimates.
• Obtain customer approvals for additional services.
• Monitor vehicle progress to ensure timely completion.
• Deliver completed vehicles and review services performed.
• Maintain high CSI scores.
• Meet individual and department performance goals.
• Maintain documentation and follow dealership processes.
• Adhere to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
• Complete required company training.
• Uphold the Mac Haik Automotive Group brand.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Express Lane Advisor

MacHaik Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram Georgetown proudly serves the greater Austin area with quality new and pre-owned vehicles. Our service department is growing, and we are seeking a motivated, customer-focused Express Lane Advisor to support our high-volume maintenance lane.

The Express Lane Advisor is responsible for greeting customers, writing repair orders for routine maintenance services (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections, etc.), recommending manufacturer-recommended services, and ensuring a fast, smooth, and positive service experience.

This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally in the express service drive
• Open and manage repair orders for maintenance services
• Recommend factory-recommended maintenance based on mileage and vehicle condition
• Communicate clearly with technicians regarding service needs
• Provide accurate time and cost estimates
• Obtain customer approvals for additional services
• Monitor vehicle progress to ensure timely completion
• Deliver completed vehicles and review services performed
• Maintain high Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores
• Meet individual and department performance goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow dealership processes
• Adhere to consistent and reliable work schedule
• Complete required company training
• Uphold the Mac Haik Automotive Group brand with professionalism and integrity
• Perform other duties as assigned
