Job summary

Gate is seeking an Assistant Manager for its Express Wash in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on customer service, safety, and efficient operation of the wash, while coaching staff to improve performance and service levels. The candidate will help manage costs, maintain facility cleanliness, and ensure smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities include overseeing vehicle flow, supervising staff, handling basic bookkeeping, and resolving guest concerns to deliver a fast, friendly experience.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older and pass pre-employment screening.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays and split shifts.
• Must speak/read/write English well for staff communication.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Must be able to operate a computer.
• Must stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Express Wash operations to maximize sales and ensure safety.
• Coach team members to improve performance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the facility.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Perform bookkeeping: shift check-off, daily reporting, bank deposits.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve guest issues.
