Job summary

Lexus of Cool Springs is seeking a Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician to join our luxury-brand service team in Brentwood, TN. You will play a key role in delivering fast, expert care, performing lubricant changes, multi-point inspections, and clear MPI reporting.

This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and guest satisfaction. You will prepare estimates, communicate with the Service Advisor for guest approval, and assist others with light mechanical duties while upholding Lexus

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment checks including background, MVR, and drug test.
• Ability to perform lube, oil and filter changes following procedures.
• Strong commitment to safety and PPE usage; ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Your Role:

• Collaborate with the service team to deliver efficient, expert care on every customer vehicle
• Perform minor services including lube, oil, and filter changes, following all dealership and manufacturer procedures
• Conduct thorough multi-point inspections on each vehicle (Customer Pay, Warranty, Extended Warranty)
• Identify all legitimate service and repair needs and document recommendations in the Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) report
• Prepare accurate estimates for additional work and communicate findings to the Service Advisor for guest approval
• Assist fellow technicians with light mechanical duties as needed
• Maintain excellent communication with Service Manager, Service Consultants, and technicians to meet Lexus time standards and exceed guest expectations
• Keep the shop clean and equipment calibrated to Lexus standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to a smooth, professional shop environment
