Job summary

Lexus of Cool Springs, a premier luxury automotive dealer near Nashville, is hiring a Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician to deliver fast, expert service and outstanding customer care.

You will perform minor services including lube, oil, and filter changes, conduct MPI inspections, prepare estimates, and support the team to meet Lexus time standards while keeping a clean, professional shop.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to safety - consistently use PPE, back belts, safety glasses, and shoes
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Dependable, team‑oriented professional with a passion for quality service

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the service team to deliver efficient, expert care on every customer vehicle
• Perform minor services including lube, oil, and filter changes, following all dealership and manufacturer procedures
• Conduct thorough multi-point inspections on each vehicle (Customer Pay, Warranty, Extended Warranty)
• Identify all legitimate service and repair needs and document recommendations in the Multi-Point Inspection (MPI) report
• Prepare accurate estimates for additional work and communicate findings to the Service Advisor for guest approval
• Assist fellow technicians with light mechanical duties as needed
• Maintain excellent communication with Service Manager, Service Consultants, and technicians to meet Lexus time standards and exceed guest expectations
• Keep the shop clean and equipment calibrated to Lexus standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to a smooth, professional shop environment
