Job summary

Lexus of Cool Springs in Nashville, TN is seeking a Full-Time Express Automotive Service Technician to join our service team. You will perform quick, high-quality maintenance and inspections, while following Lexus procedures and time standards.

You will collaborate with technicians and service advisors, document findings, prepare estimates, and deliver outstanding customer service throughout the vehicle care journey.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old and able to pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver’s license for at least 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with service team to ensure fast, expert care for every vehicle.
• Perform minor services such as checking/changing lube, oil and filters following dealership/manufacturer procedures.
• Identify and report issues to Service Advisor or Manager promptly.
• Conduct multi-point inspections on every vehicle (Customer Pay, Warranty, Extended Warranty).
• Document MPI findings with clear recommendations for repairs.
• Prepare accurate estimates for additional work and obtain customer approval.
• Assist other technicians with light mechanical tasks as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service throughout the service process.
• Maintain communication with Service Manager, Consultants, and technicians to meet Lexus time standards and exceed guest expectations.
• Keep back shop clean and equipment calibrated to Lexus standards.
