Job summary

Jones Family of Dealerships in Lancaster, PA seeks an Express Service Advisor to deliver an exceptional customer experience while coordinating express maintenance and repairs in a fast-paced department. You will greet customers, document service needs, prepare estimates, and work with technicians to ensure timely completion.

A valid driver's license and strong communication are required, with prior service-advisor or retail experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to document maintenance requests and prepare estimates.
• Experience in automotive service advisory or retail is a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Review customer concerns and document requested maintenance and repair services.
• Perform vehicle walk-arounds and identify maintenance opportunities.
• Recommend maintenance services including oil changes, tires, batteries, and filters.
• Prepare service estimates and obtain customer authorization for recommended work.
• Coordinate with Express Service Technicians to ensure efficient vehicle flow and timely completion of services.
• Communicate service updates and completion times to customers.
• Review completed services with customers and answer questions.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and customer records.
• Handle customer concerns professionally and work to ensure satisfaction.
• Help the department achieve customer satisfaction, retention, and sales goals.
• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
