Grace Fellowship Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Marshall, Texas, seeks a Teaching Elder/Pastor to shepherd the congregation with a vibrant personal faith and a deep commitment to Reformed theology. The pastor will model pastoral care, lead in worship and the Sacraments, and work with staff, Session, and volunteers to strengthen the church’s ministry in the Marshall community.

Qualifications

Master of Divinity (M.Div.) or equivalent theological seminary degree from an accredited institution.
EPC Ordination: ordained Teaching Elder or eligible to undergo ordination/transfer in EPC.
Empowering leader who cultivates spiritual gifts in others.
Expository preacher with deep love for God’s Word.

Responsibilities

Cultivate personal faith and equip the congregation through sound Biblical teaching and corporate worship.
Lead corporate worship and faithfully administer the Sacraments per EPC Book of Order.
Moderate the Session and support the Board of Deacons in mercy and service.
Provide proactive pastoral care, visitation, and crisis counseling.
Engage in planning and participating in community outreach.
Develop youth ministry in collaboration with the youth minister.
Oversee office administration, annual reporting, and member communications.
