Abacus Solutions Group is seeking an Export Shipping Specialist to join a high-performing shipping team in Windsor, CT. The role includes handling domestic and international shipments, coordinating with multiple carriers, and maintaining accurate paperwork.

The position runs Monday–Friday, 6:30am–3:00pm MT, with an emphasis on timely and precise shipping to meet commitments. You will work with a small team that values quality and customer satisfaction, supporting warehouse operations and audits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse experience.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to repeatedly bend, squat and lift.
• Forklift experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete domestic and international shipments for delivery or pickup according to schedule and priority.
• Coordinate shipping activities using ERP systems and external shipping systems (e.g., DHL Global, FedEx, UPS, GP Express, Hawaiian Express).
• Coordinate with trucking and shipping companies to ship product to customers (e.g., Xiamen, Stuttgart, Mexico, Australia, CVS, Argentina).
• Responsible for daily shipping process of domestic orders.
• Create paperwork for FedEx Ground, LTL DHL Express and Manual Shipments.
• Maintain quality customer service and accurate delivery results.
• Keep a clean, safe, and organized environment following standards and procedures.
• Scan shipping paperwork for audits.
• Lead by example with teamwork, inclusion, and professional growth.
• Assist in warehouse picking and order checking when time permits.

Position Summary:

This position will be part of a high performing shipping team. Working with domestic and export shipments. Dependability and Accuracy are a vital trait, for this role. It is important to have timely and accurate shipments sent to all customers to ensure we deliver on our commitments. In this position you will work with a small, dedicated, team who have demonstrated a very high level of quality and customer satisfaction. The current position is for a day shift that runs Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm MT.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate shipping activities using ERP systems and external shipping systems. For example, DHL Global, FedEx, UPS, GP Express and Hawaiian Express

• Ability to assist in warehouse picking and checking orders when time permits.

Required Skills:

Desired Technical Experience:
